About Accubuilt Mobility

Mobility vans and van conversionsNow a Part of MobilityWorks

Accubuilt Mobility is a diversified specialty vehicle manufacturer that was previously a division of Accubuilt, Inc.

In January of 2010, Accubuilt Mobility was acquired by MobilityWorks, the largest U.S. manufacturer of commercial wheelchair vans and reseller of Braun, VMI and Ultra Full-Size consumer handicap vans.

Vartanian Industries

Accubuilt Inc., known for its funeral coaches and limousines traditionally used by the funeral service industry, had purchased Vartanian Industries in 2002.

Vartanian began operations in 1979 and primarily served the demanding needs of mobility and shuttle van operators in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets. Vartanian built a strong brand franchise by building a product that was innovative and durable enough to withstand round-the-clock usage on some of the worst roads and under the most congested traffic conditions in the United States.

Recognizing the value of Vartanian's reputation and potential for strong and rapid growth in the van market, Accubuilt began building mobility vans at their manufacturing facility in Lima, Ohio.
